Casi una cuarta parte de ellas se encuentran en China. Otro 30 % del total de sistemas de metro se concentra en Brasil, la India, Jap\u00f3n, la Rep\u00fablica de Corea y los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2023 se inaugurar\u00e1n los primeros metros en Lagos (Nigeria) y Quito (Ecuador).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Metro de Quito (MDQ) empez\u00f3 a construirse en enero de 2016, el mismo a\u00f1o en que la ciudad acogi\u00f3 H\u00e1bitat III, una de las mayores conferencias de la historia de las Naciones Unidas. Si el evento se organizara hoy, la ciudad recibir\u00eda a los visitantes con quince estaciones de metro, una de ellas en la plaza de San Francisco, en el coraz\u00f3n del centro hist\u00f3rico. La inauguraci\u00f3n oficial del Metro de Quito tuvo lugar pocos d\u00edas antes de que finalizara el a\u00f1o 2022 y, tras una primera fase de pruebas, se espera que est\u00e9 en pleno funcionamiento a partir de marzo de 2023, cada d\u00eda de las 5.30 a las 23.00 horas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El proyecto del Metro de Quito ha sido financiado por un consorcio de cuatro bancos multilaterales: el Banco de Desarrollo de Am\u00e9rica Latina, el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, el Banco Mundial y el Banco Europeo de Inversiones. Hasta 2028, ser\u00e1 operado por un consorcio formado por Metro de Medell\u00edn (Colombia) y Transdev, un operador de transporte p\u00fablico con sede en Francia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La misma semana de la inauguraci\u00f3n oficial del Metro de Quito, se celebraba la finalizaci\u00f3n de la L\u00ednea Azul del Lagos Rail Mass Transit en la ciudad africana. La L\u00ednea Azul aspira a transportar cada d\u00eda a 200.000 pasajeros. En las primeras semanas de 2023 tambi\u00e9n se realizar\u00e1n las pruebas de funcionamiento. En el caso de Lagos, el metro ligero ha sido construido por la China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otras ciudades que est\u00e1n listas para inaugurar el metro en 2023 son Tesal\u00f3nica (Grecia), Konya (Turqu\u00eda) y Honolulu (Estados Unidos).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Metro, Subterr\u00e1neo o Suburbano: \u00a1\u00daselo!
