Urban Journalism Institute

The concept of urban journalism goes beyond those stories focusing on cities or the content produced by local media. It is about journalism specialized on covering the urban dynamics which define if a city is sustainable or not, but most importantly, how the way the city is planned and managed would affect the future sustainability of the city and its citizens. Urban journalism can include a series of tools to reshape urban narrative in a collaborative way, involving media professionals and communicators in solution-oriented journalism but also stakeholders, activists, and local communities in producing new forms of storytelling on cities.
